CGF Motors is a family run business offering mechanic services, repairs and breakdown coverage. With a passion for cars and a commitment to honest work, the business has grown within the community through word of mouth, reviews and recommendations.
To capitalise on this momentum CGF wanted to build a website and identity to capture the positive feedback. Whilst their professionalism, transparent communication, detailed explanations and fair pricing for all services sustained the business, expanding operations and informing customers of their other services, such as courtesy cars and package deals was a key focus.

02. Solution
To combat these challenges a new logo, colour palette, website and uniform was designed to set them apart.
A dark theme was chosen to convey as sense of professionalism.
A clean layout presented information plainly in a easy manor, where potential customers can find what they're looking for quickly, no complicated forms, no jargon.
The intention is to set them apart from neighbouring businesses that offer overly functional sites that can at times feel overwhelming.
03. Impact
Since launch of the website and accompanying brand the business has gone from strength to strength.
In its first month, 5 courtesy cars have been issued. 8 customers have chosen CGF over their closest business rivals and they have received just under 80 organic site visits through Google.
CGF no longer solely relies on customers needing a quick fix. Most of their new business now comes through large scale requests and entire engine rebuild projects with an increase of customers enquiring about their Interim package.
Mechanic work increased by 23% since launch of the CGF visual identity and website.
01. Challenge
CGF Motors being a car garage relied on word of mouth and referrals. The main challenge was enticing customers to engage with the business not just in a moment of crisis but to think of them as an ongoing partner to optimise your vehicle and maintain smooth running.
The business offers a range of packages and services which customers are unaware of for a number of reasons, the lack of a brand identity setting them apart from competition in the area and no official website.
