Microsofts Front Line Worker projects were brought into sharp focus during the pandemic. With a growing need to roll out their products to whole sectors such as retail, energy, construction and manufacturing their Customer Success Managers needed fresh new marketing content, tailored towards a British audience.

Promotional material ran alongside this in the form of three posters showing different scenarios in which Microsofts products streamline the way people work. These characters presented a new 'Day in the life of' process whilst also depicting the features of the software in action and it's everyday utility.

02. Solution

Gathering insights from industries such as retail. construction, energy and the public sector personas were created to illustrate a typical day for key roles. Weaving Microsoft products throughout the user journey highlighted the positive impact and increased efficiency the suite provides.

Focusing on a positive narrative the marketing material was made up of posters, personas, illustrations, presentation templates and animation, used by Microsoft CSM's in new business proposals and client consultations.

03. Impact

Within the first month of launch four new clients were onboarded with longterm partnership agreements to digitally transform operations.

New clients included retail brands and local councils across the UK.

01. Challenge

Design brand new marketing material for Microsofts Front Line Worker initiative, providing their CSM's with the tools to target new industries and potential users.

The FLW initiative was a new division at Microsoft, aiming to provide tools to users considered to be the lifeblood of thier industry. The challenge was to condense Microsofts vast amount of data and distill it down into actionable insights and engaging CTA's.

Taking a current users way of working and conceptualising a completely new journey, enhanced with the product suite.
